T Ball Notice
Leamington School 3 February 2011 Junior Tball/Softball Competition Term 1 2011 Tom Voyle Park Sports Club is continuing its Junior Softball Competition for Primary Schools in the Cambridge area. This competition runs from the second week of Term 1. Teams consist of 9-11 players and it is open to all pupils from New Entrant to Year 6. There are 3 leagues. Midget Tee-Ball Years New Entrants, 1 and 2 Giants Tee-Ball Years 3 and 4 Little League Years 5 and 6 The games are played on Saturday mornings at the Softball grounds adjacent to Cambridge High School. Each game takes approximately 50 minutes and games start at 9am. A weekly draw will be put out as soon as we receive it. The fee for the term will be $15.00 per player. Players are required to wear their School uniform ‘Sports’ shirt, a pair of dark coloured shorts and sneakers. The School will provide the Softball bats, training equipment and helmets for the teams but children are welcome to purchase their own glove. We need parents/caregivers to coach/manage the teams. This requires you to be at the games on Saturday mornings and take a weekly practice at school. Leamington School will support Coaches and Managers throughout the season. If your child wishes to play Tee-Ball, please complete the permission form below and return it to Ms Custer asap. Payment will be required by Friday 18 February to the School office.
